“A journey from the depths of grief”
This journey started April 13, 2021 when my only son died suddenly. In the days that followed, the darkness and despair were so great I could barely function or even speak. Then one day a good friend gifted me with a wood burning pen which birthed a gift in me I was unaware of, bringing new life from out of the darkness and despair.
The art of wood burning saved my sanity and brought new hope for a future through creativity. It is in honor of my son Jeremey and with the encouragement of others, I am offering this gift to the community. My hope is that these pieces bringnew life to you and your home or office as well.

Marie is currently the in-house artist and Operations Manager at Sun Bear Gallery and Studio. She is a self-taught artist who just enjoys creating! She primarily paints in acrylic and uses subject matter associated with her love of the beach, though she has been known to paint a War Eagle every once in a while. After a rewarding and exhausting career in child welfare she retired and is realizing her dream of one day having a gallery and studio where up and coming artist might show and sell their work. Her belief is that everyone has a creative gene... whether it is in painting, gardening, cooking, styling or just managing a household. She enjoys helping others to bring out the "little artist" in them and spending time talking shop with fellow art lovers
Jaimie’s love for pottery is more than just a craft – it’s a journey of exploration and self-expression. “In my studio, I find serenity amidst the clay and wheel, where I translate my thoughts into functional yet decorative pieces. I love to use “non-traditional” and bright-colored glazes. I am always seeking new textures to incorporate with my pieces and get much of my inspiration here in the Emerald Coast.”
Reagan is a growing artists who is developing a strong following such that she is often working on commission pieces.
Reagan grew up and has lived most of her life on the west end of PCB, FL. She has traveled to many coasts and beaches, yet she still affirms that PCB beaches are truly the worlds most beautiful. The water has always been her "happy place", and she expresses that through her paintings. She has painted many subjects, but her heart is painting what she loves, the beach!!! Reagan started painting in middle school and continued to take all the available art classes she could. When in college Reagan’s studies went a different direction and soon she realized she longed to create! After college, she focused on painting and self teaching different technics. Besides loving the beach, Reagan enjoys using bright vivid colors. She says, " I can paint a picture and everything is technically corrrect, but if it lacks beauty in the colors, I have failed to convey my real feelings behind the painting". Her hope is that people connect with her art as much as she does, and are able to experience a piece of her happy place.
Lucinda Bunn Creative’s Mission Statement: “I wish to bring joy to those who need it. And that is everyone.” Lucinda began to love art at the age of five when she colored on her nightlight to make the cutout moon and stars pretty. Lucinda is also a writer and entertainer, fully embracing all ways to bring joy to people. She did not believe in her creative gifts until well into adulthood when a friend suggested that she create something beautiful for the world to enjoy, to heal from depression. Lucinda began by painting happy furniture for children going into foster care. She now enjoys painting on canvases with bright, happy colors, mixed media, acrylic and watercolor and loves unusual canvases like denim. She says, “I give the paint and brushes to my inner child and watch her channel the gifts from our maker.” Lucinda was born into a sea loving family off the Long Island sound. In 2020, Lucinda moved from landlocked life in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the Emerald Coast of the Florida panhandle next to the Gulf of Mexico, to be in her bliss, living by the sea, alongside her roommate, Atlas the One Eyed Cat.
